Actor Suniel Shetty broke down and was in tears as he spoke about the tough phase his son Ahan Shetty went through after his debut film Tadap failed to make it at the top .    Addressing the star kids and that they get it easy in the film industry is only a notion said the veteran actor and Ahan had faced a turmoil after his first release Tadap which failed to create an impact at the box office.

Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan had made his Bollywood debut with Milan Luthria’s directorial film Tadap in 2021.

Suniel joined son Ahan and the team of Border 2 launch of the track Jaate Hue Lamhon at an event held in Mumbai .

During the event, Suniel Shetty was seen visibly emotional and he broke down while he spoke about his son Ahan and his struggles .

He said, he had advised his son when he was doing this Border 2, that its not just a uniform that he has to wear , remember this , getting such a big film, it is a responsible film . Suniel chocked while saying this and got emotional that his son was a part of the blockbuster part 2 in making,  after the setback he faced after his debut .   He was happy his son was getting a second lease with a bigger film like Border 2.

The actor said, after his first film didn’t do well, he took a break in his life and in his career. There was a turmoil that the family went through but it’s always that people say, if its Suniel Shetty’s son he will get a lot of work but its not true and he is happy that he has got Border 2 as his second film. He couldn’t have got something better than this and said he prays that he has done justice to this role and the film he worked for all of us. Said Suniel Shetty.

About Ahan Shetty.

Ahan Shetty had done his debut with the remake of Telugu film RX 100 released in 2018 in Milan Luthria director film Tadap in 2021.  Tadap had failed at the box office .

Last year there were reports that Ahan had lost a few good projects due to the high entourage cost. Talking about the allegations Ahan had said, he is aware of what’s written about him and none of those were true. Ahan Shetty will be seen in Border 2, a sequel of JP Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster war epic.  Border 2 is being directed by Anurag Singh and will star Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Medha Rana and Ahan Shetty.  The film is based on 1971 India- Pakistan war and will have a few real-life events . The film is scheduled for its release in the theatres on 23rd January 2026.
