Yash Raj Films (YRF) has taken a major step into India’s blooming music space independently with the launch of Raah Records.  Marking its first release the label has introduce the debut artist Aman who makes his entry with the maiden track, ‘Jaadugari’ which is set to captivate listeners. 

For over five decades, YRF has attached itself with some of the most iconic soundtracks in Bollywood films. The studio is now further expanding beyond film music to create a new platform where independent artists will receive a long-term creative support to help the artist development in their career building and bring in new opportunities for them. Unlike the conventional record labels, this format will solely focus on the releases. Raah Records is designed to work closely with the artists from their first stage of their musical journey to help them evolve through songwriting, music production, creative direction and audience engagement and will place their music strategically with the collaborators. 

Speaking about the Launch, the YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani described the Raah Records as a significant strategic expansion in the music business of the company.  He emphasized on India’s Independent music industry that is entering in a new exciting phase for further growth of the talented artists who require more than just the distribution.  

Raah Records is built to nurture careers.  

Rather than just building short term campaigns, with the world class A & R marketing, the artist development is at its core with the trust they need and to sustain the creative partnership. 

The label will be spearheaded by Senior General Manager, Nakul Sharma. The Music Management at Yash Raj films has played a pivotal role in shaping Raah Records. Nakul Sharma further revealed that the label was created with the belief that the musicians flourish when they are given the appropriate freedom and help them to remain authentic. He added Aman represents the vision behind Raah Records making Jaadugari the ideal release for the new label. 

The first glimpse of Jaadugari has been unveiled while the full track is now available across all major audio streaming platforms on August 5th 2026.  The release follows nearly a year of creative collaboration between Aman and Raah Records Team. From reflecting the label’s commitments to developing a unique artistic voice, the original releases are planned in the coming months. 

Raah Records will aim to become the leading destination for India’s next generation of independent music albums and music artists.
