Kashmira Irani

Kashmira made her debut with the television industry. She is known for her playing Amber in Amber Dahra and Draupadi in Dharmakshetra. She also essayed a role in Dosti Yaariyay, Manmarziyan and in Zangoora. She played pivotal roles in Rangoon, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat.

She won the Best Debutant Award for her role of Amber at the Sansui Television Awards.

In 2009, Kashmira Irani appeared in telefilms based on the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai called Un Hazaaron Ke Naam in which she essayed the role of Jyoti a rich brat. The story was how these attacks transformed a spoilt brat to become socially responsible towards the society. The following year, Kashmira had played a role in Yash Chopra’s television series, called Seven on Sony Entertainment Television.

She essayed in the series which was about seven extra ordinary people who possess supernatural powers and how each of them gets rid of the evil in the society. She plays the role of Varya Vishwamitra a girl who can control the weather.

Kashmira has also played the lead as Rajkumari Sonali in a play called Zangoora. It was her first Bollywood musical and it premiered on 23rd September 2010. It was one of the long running Bollywood stage shows in India. In June 2013, the musical completed over 1000 successful shows at Nautanki Mahal, Gurgaon. It’s her first live show on stage which was one of her most challenging roles and she had to acquire skills for aerial choreography. Zangoora and her role has been much appreciated by the audience.

After the four successful years, Kashmira went for her acting and dance classes in New York City. She also worked with an acting coach while she was in the city.

In 2014 Kashmira appeared briefly as a stage actress wherein she performed the aerial dance at Kingdom of Dreams in PK. She starred alongside Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma. Kashmira Irani had performed the aerial dance to the song, ‘Love is a Waste of Time’.

The actress became popular and came to limelight for her role as Samaira in the popular television series, Dosti. Yaariya Manmarziyaan. Kashmira is also often remembered for her roles in the film Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat.
