Hate Story 2 (2014)

Sonika, played by Surveen Chawla barely escapes death when she is found buried alive in a coffin at a graveyard by an old man. She’s taken to the hospital and given treatment, while the police inspector Anton, played by Siddharth Kher is investigating the matter. He leaves an officer to watch over her but after Anton leaves he makes a phone call and tries to kill her. She escapes the hospital. Movie goes in flashback where, Sonika is the mistress of a corrupt politician Mandar, played by Shushant Singh who tortures her. She is studying photography and finds comfort in her friend Akshay but doesn’t reveal her situation. Akshay however finds out and decides to help her. They fall in love and decide to run away. Mandar doesn’t take this well and goes to Akshay’s house and kills him, while buries Sonika is a coffin. A devastated Sonika swears revenge. One by one she kills all the men who killed her lover Akshay and finally kills Mandar with the help of his own wife who was shocked to know his true identity. Anton then helps Sonika stay in a secure and safe house where she changes her name to Veronica. Hate Story 2 is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Bhushan & Krishan Kumar and Manmohan Singh. The music is composed by Sunny and Inder Bawra.
