Suraj, played by Salman Khan is adopted by Radha’s parents when he is found on the streets. Radha, played by Madhuri Dixit sees him like a brother and grows a close friendship with him. Suraj grows up to a prominent successful singer and credits Radha for supporting him always. Radha meanwhile gets married to Gopal, played by Shahrukh Khan, who was once looked after by her father. They get married and Gopal’s sister Nita also lives with them.
Radha who loves her brother Prashant, played by Atul Agnihotri, financially supports him. This angers Gopal and also the fact that Radha is always talking to Suraj on the phone. Radha asks Prashant to move in with them, but after a misunderstanding Gopal throws him out of the house.
Gopal who is now getting paranoid about Radha being too close to Suraj suspects them having an affair and throws her out of the house too. Soon Gopal realizes his mistake and apologizes to his wife and Suran who already has a girlfriend named Suman. The movie is directed by K S Adhiyaman and produced by K.C Bokadia. The music is composed by Daboo Malik, Nadeem-Shravan, Nikhil-Vinay, Bali Brahmabhatt, Bappi Lahiri and Sajid-Wajid.
