Jageera is a dreaded criminal who has lived his whole life killing, looting and molesting. His alcoholism and addictions have gotten the better of him. He has no remorse even though his wife Laxmi is pregnant and his son Vikram is young. When Laxmi goes into labour, Jageera is elsewhere molesting another innocent girl. Laxmi gives birth to a girl named Jyoti but unfortunately she gets abducted. Laxmi then devastated goes to live with her friend and his son Virendra. Soon her friend dies, leaving her to look after Virendra and her son Vikram. Jageera disappears from their lives but years later resurfaces.
Jageera has now joined forces with another criminal named Bhanupratap. Vikram has now become a police inspector and is after Bhanupratap. Jageera promises him that he will kill Vikram. However little does he know that he is going to come face to face with his own long lost son. The film is directed by Sudarshan Nag and produced by Suresh Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast inludes Dharmendra, Rajnikanth, Jayaprada, Madhavi, Pran, Gulshan Grover, Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, Bindu and Rohini Hattangadi.
