Mangal is abused and tortured by his step-mother at a young age. He thus lives with fear and just when he thought things couldn’t get worse, his father Havaldar Rajnath Pandey is shot dead by the dreaded Daku Lal Singh. He is then separated from his sister and thus adopted by a smuggler Kulbhushan who renames Mangal as ‘Tiger’. He then joins forces with another criminal named Jaganlal. Tiger gets into a deadly confrontation with police officer Shukla and ends up killing him. He is then the most wanted man in the city and a man hunt is sent out for
him. They however conclude that Tiger died in a train accident. Tiger thus gets the chance to visit him home. When he reaches home he is shocked to learn that his sister Deepa is now a widow and he is the reason for it. The film is directed and produced by Harmesh Malhotra. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The star cast includes Kadar Khan, Shatrughan Sinha, Chandrasekhar, Neeta Mehta, Parveen Babi, Farida Jalal, Iftekhar, Janki Das, Mohan Sheri, Mul Chand, Rajan Kapoor, Ram Mohan, Randhur and Sudhir.
