Vikram Singh owns a popular news publication called ‘Meri Zabaan’. He is also the editor of the paper and works hard to gather genuine information for it. One day he comes across some important information about an influential person and takes this opportunity to expose him through his news. However, before that could happen, Vikram goes missing, and his wife and child are left helpless waiting for his return. His son Krishna grows up to be a responsible and compassionate young man, but his mother is sent to a mental institution due to shock of her husband’s disappearance.

 

A bar dancer named Baby falls or Krishan. Initially he ignores her but when her mother starts showing signs of improvement in Baby’s presence he embraces her. In a shocking turn of events, Krishna finds his father is alive but in prison. He starts to put all the pieces of puzzle together. The film is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by Veena Sharma. The music is composed by Anu Malik. The story and screenplay is written by Faiz Saleem. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Shashi Kapoor, Kimi,Vinod Mehra, Farha, Rakesh Bedi, Amjad Khan,Ranjeet, Amrit Pal,Tej Sapru, Surendra Pal, Beena Banerjee and Tanuja.
