Inderjeet Singh is an honest and tough police inspector who has dedicated his life to the department. He has managed to decode a secret plan of terrorists to blast the Gateway of India and destroy the city of Mumbai with a secret mission called Mission Mumbai. These blasts are planned for the 31st of December, which is the New Years Eve day. He is focused on nabbing the culprits and aborting their mission. He is doing all he can to save his beloved city from the threat of these anti-social elements of society.
Inderjeet’s dedication is met with major disappointment when one of the officers in his police force is an informer for the gangsters and informs a notorious don Pathan Baba of the police inspector’s plans. However Inderjeet is finally successful is saving the city from the bomb blast as well as saving thousands of lives and proving that he was a true patriot to his country.
The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The star cast includes Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Mukesh Khanna, Nawab Shah, Pankaj Berry, Pramod Moutho, Aroon Bakshi, Navin Parihar, Shakti Kapoor, Jyoti and Pinky Chinoy. The music is composed by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen and the cinematography is by Hasan Khan. The choreography is by Habiba Rehman and Raju Khan.
