Directed by Pramod Chakravorty, produced by Vinod Doshi starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Pran, Sarika. Nastik was released on 18th February 1983.
The film is an action drama. Shankar’s (Amitabh Bachchan) father was a priest in the village. Tiger (Amjad Khan) murders his father, mother and sister. Shankar wants to do justice all by himself, goes to meet Tiger in his palace, blinds him and becomes an atheist, blames god for what has happened. He runs away to the city, takes to theft, joins hand with Balbir( Pran)and Gauri (Hema). Shankar tries to hide as Tiger tries to shoot him, finds his mother and sister Shanti (Rita Bhaduri), tells him that the enemy is not yet killed. So Shankar sets to finish him.
