Land owner Jagannath, played by Dilip Kumar, is a cruel and ruthless man. One day the news of his murder spreads like wildfire. His twin brother Amarnnath investigates all the events that led up to the death of his brother. He gets a list of suspects like Jagannath’s son Amar, his abused wife and a girl called Yamini, who claims has been molested by Jagannath. All the suspects have a good enough reason to kill him but no solid evidence is found to substantiate it. Soon Amar comes forward and confesses that he was the one who killed Jagannath as he accidentally shot him in self defence.
Later it is revealed that Yamini was the one who killed him to get revenge for her brother. The movie is directed by Umesh Mehra and produced by Parvesh Mehra. The music is composed by Anand raaj Anand. The star cast includes Rekha, Mamta Kulkarni, Mukul Dev, Satish Kaushik, Malay Chakraborty, Shabaz Khan, Avtar Gill, Umesh Shukla, Pramod Moutho, Gulshan Grover, Sahil, Rajeshwari, Smita Jaykar and Kunika.
