Satte Pe Satta is a 1982 action comedy film featuring Amitabh Bachchan in a double role (as Ravi Anand and Babu). Starring in the film are Hema Malini, Amjad Khan, Ranjeeta Kaur, Sachin, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Sudhir Inderjeet, Sarika, Kanwaljit Singh, Prema Narayan, Mac Mohan and Kalpana Iyer among the supporting star cast.

The film adapted from the English film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a story of seven brothers living in a large farmhouse. The brothers are orphans and uneducated who grow up under the guidance and control of their elder brother Ravi( Amitabh Bachchan) The brothers have grown up with animals and are unruly unhygienic bumpkins with no manners. Ravi and Indu( Hema Malini) fall in love but he hides from her the fact that he has these unruly uneducated brothers to take care of. The couple marry and to her shock when she comes to her marital home finds these unsophisticated brothers. Indu hates the untidyness and their indiscipline. However, the six brothers learn to adjust with their new sister-in-law who tries to reform each of them. Soon enough they also fall in love with six women who come into their lives.

Things take a twist when Ravi is kidnapped and his look alike Babu is hired by her guardian Ranjeet Singh to kill Seema (Ranjeeta Kaur) who is crippled and on a wheel chair but is the heiress to the wealth she has inherited. Babu spends many days with the family as Seema who also living with the brothers. One day Babu attempts to kill Seema and in the state of shock she stands up from her wheel chair and regains strength and confidence in her legs and is able to walk again. Babu confesses his love for her and tells the family about his true identity. He takes the brothers and Indu to the Den owned by Ranjit where Ravi is in captive. The family forgives Babu and the story ends with a happy ending.
