Ujala is an Emotional-Romantic Crime-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence and written by Naresh Saigal. The Story revolves around the life of Ramu (played by Shammi Kapoor)- A Poor and simple man living in a village and fells in love with Chabeli (played by Mala Sinha) - A Sweet girl and wanted to marry her. He moves to Bombay for the sake of fortune- but gets trap in the hands of Kalu (played by Raaj Kumar)- An Evil man- who framed him for the crime and his life gets destructed after it, leaving Chabeli alone in the harsh environment, leading to consequences.
