Woh Kaun Thi is a 1964 Bollywood’s psychological thriller which is a blend of suspense and haunting melodies.

Directed by Raj Khosla, the plot of the film is about Dr Anand essayed by Manoj Kumar who offers a mysterious woman in white saree a ride on a stormy night. The woman is actress Sadhana. She directs him to a graveyard, leaving Anand very unsettled as she disappears and he is confused when his newly married bride Sandhya is an exact lookalike of the spectral woman he gave the ride.

Anand in the next few days is pushed to the brink of madness unable to determine if he is living with a ghost or simply losing his mind. The tension is further escalated concluded in shocking revelations , which ultimately comes to light when Anand’s cousin Ramesh ( Prem Chopra) has been orchestrating the supernatural illusions using Sandhya’s twin sister with an intention of driving Anand insane to seize his vast inheritance.

Actress Sadhana is celebrated for her enigmatic dual performance in the film, with Madan Mohan legendary sound track which also includes the timeless all time classic, ‘Lag Jaa Gale’. The film is one of the most beautiful suspense films in Indian cinema.
