The special court on Friday granted bail to Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in an alleged Bitcoin Investment scam case. The case held by special prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA)court granted him a bail after he had appeared before the court, in a money laundering case that was linked to Gain Bitcoin. Raj Kundra felt it was simply hyped by the media and upon granted bail, he said, Satyamev Jayate, the truth alone will triumph.

The special PMLA court in Mumbai , on Friday granted Raj Kundra , the bail after he had presented himself before the court in a case that was registered by Enforcement Directorate called the ED . The case is linked to Bitcoin an alleged scam of 2018. Raj Kundra’s advocate Prashant Patil said there was no strong basis for the case against his client and that Raj Kundra has been cooperating with ED since 2018. Raj has been granted the bail on a surety of Rs. 1 lakh and has been instructed to seek the court’s permission to travel abroad.

After he was granted the bail, Raj spoke to the press and claimed he is innocent and is grateful to God for the bail . He stated, unfortunately the media has hyped up the case and said these reporters who don’t know much about the legal terms simply report whatever they understand. Raj Kundra said he is no longer wearing a mask because all his masks are off and its about time now that he will look into removing the masks from other people too. Smiling widely, he said, Satyamev Jayate, the truth will prevail.
The alleged Bitcoin scam case
The case Bitcoin Scam is linked with an FIR registered against Raj Kundra in 2018 at Nigdi and Nanded police station in Pune. They alleged that the investors were cheated in the name of Bitcoin mining. The central probe agency took charge and has alleged that Raj Kundra had received 285 Bitcoins from the suspected mastermind Gain Bitcoin Ponzi Scam, who allegedly set up by Amit Bhardwaj at Bitcoin farm in Ukraine.
