Actress Saiyami Kher commenced her work for the upcoming project. Directed by designer and filmmaker Vikram Phadnis.   The film also has Tahir Raj Bhasin as an actor opposite Saiyami.  

The new year began well for Saiyami, who took to Instagram where she shared a picture of a script that read, New year, New beginnings. As always need all the wishes.  She also featured in a picture of her sitting with Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vikram Phadnis.

Saiyami Kher wraps up the shooting for the film, ‘ Haiwaan’

She has recently completed the shooting for ‘Haiwaan’ starring alongside Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, which marks their collaboration with each other after 18 years. The film is directed by Priyadarshan, who helmed ‘Haiwaan’, is now once again reunited with Akshay Kumar for another film, titled ‘Bhoot Bangla’. 

The thrilling crime action titled Haiwaan is scheduled for its release in 2026 and is reportedly the remake of Priyadarshan’s Malayalam hit Oppam. The trailer of the film further gave a glimpse of the thrilling world with the massive car chase in Mumbai, marking it as a highly anticipated film on the big screen.

Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar had last worked in Tashan with Kareena Kapoor Khan, which was a commercial disaster. 

Bhoot Bangla, a horror drama to be released most likely, is slated for its release on 15th May 2025, which will mark the reunion of Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan after many years.  They have been one of the most rewarding actor-director pairs of Indian Cinema. 

Saiyami Kher in a pivotal role in the film ‘Jaat’ 

Talking further about Saiyami Kher,  the actress was last seen in the film Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni. She starred in a pivotal role with Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Regena Cassandra, and Vineet Kumar Singh.  Ramya Krishnan, Jagapthi Babu, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab and P. Ravi Shankar were also part of the cast ensemble.
