The original film is set to complete its 100th day in theatres tomorrow a rare milestone in the post pandemic era

In modern Indian Cinema, the block buster spy thriller Dhurandhar has continued with the theatrical run util the release of its sequel Dhurandhar :The Revenge.  It is is in the first time in the history of Indian cinema that the prequel is running in the theatres until the sequel launch.   

Dhurandhar is all set to complete its 100th day in the theatres tomorrow, a rare milestone , a testament of its enduring popularity despite the fact that its now available on Netflix the theatres have made it to one of the highest selling Hindi films on its platform.   

The first installment was re-released globally on March 13th 2026 across more than 1000 screens to mark its success. The hype is evident on Book My Show the popular film ticket app on mobile whereby over 500,000 have marked their interest already in the upcoming sequel. 

Dhurandhar :The Revenge is already shattering world wide release and breaking records.

The sequel of Dhurandhar,  Dhurandhar :  The Revenge is slated for a worldwide release on March 19th 2026 which is already shattering the box office records.    In an advance booking of the premiere show,  that is scheduled across more than 9000 shows.   

The film has gathered over 50 crores alone in the world-wide advance sales with a prediction of  the historic opening to touch 100 crores.   In India alone the premiere has crossed over 24. 4 crore  and has surpassed all its previous records of paid reviews held by other major films. 

The high demand is also reflecting on the price of the premium ticket prices with some recliner seats showing each ticked priced at as high as Rs. 3,100 in metro cities like Mumbai. 

The international response is also phenomenal especially in the North America where the film has grossed approximately at 3.50 million and Rs 32.5 crore in overseas pre – sales for its opening weekend already.  The United Sates is leading in the international with nearly 2.25 million in sales in the four-day weekend extension in states like Texas and California showing strong pre sales figures. 

The total advance collection with its premiere that has already climbed to an impressive record has further solidified by its confirmed release in AMC Dolby cinema across the USA. Dhurandhar:The Revenge only.   The third Indian feature film to receive a Dolby release in the United States following of RRR and Pushpa 2:The Rule. 

Canada witnessed an unprecedented surge over the weekend with pre-sale of the tickets crossing a 900K mark to hear 1 M very soon. This record is one of the biggest trends recorded across for an Indian title in the region besides a successful opening in North America  which made Dhurandhar :The Revenge the first Bollywood film to have crossed the milestone after Baahubali 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.The Dhurandhar :The Revenge is on the path  of making it a historical global blockbuster of all times.
