Emraan Hashmi is finally gearing up with his comeback iconic role of Shivam Pandit as Awarapan 2 for the grand theatrical release soon. The makers are making sure they leave no stone unturned to make it one of the most memorable theatrical outings for his fans who have been waiting for the sequel for over two decades. 


The film is at its final  stage and the teaser and promotional plans are on.  Awarapan 2 will be released worldwide in theatres on August 14th 2026.   


The highly anticipated romantic action thriller brings back Emraan Hashmi as the Iconic Shivam alongside Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi .  The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and is produced by Vishesh Films.  The movie is ready to officially be wrapped with its principal photography. 


Exclusive launch on June 29th 2026.  


Awarapan 2 is interesting launched on June 29th which holds the date as prominence as it marked the year of the original Awarapan which turned into the cult film over time. The idea to launch on June 29th is to pay an emotional tribute to the legacy of Awarapan . 


The upcoming logo reveals the announces of the teaser release date as well. The makers have however,  planned a month long promotional strategy of Awarapan 2 to ensure the buzz and the hype around it takes the film to a higher level of launch. The music launch which is said to be one of the biggest strengths of the sequel. The soulful music which is to be finalized by the makers also will  include the reimagined versions of the chartbuster, Toh Phir Aao and Tera Mera Rishta from the 2007 film apart from the newly composed music for the sequel. 


However, the team is all set to kick of with its promotional campaign soon. Producer Vishesh Bhatt will unveil the logo of Awarapan 2 soon through a unique digital launch is helmed by Nitin Kakkar, known for directing Filmistaan, Ram Singh Charlie, Notebook and many others.
