Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone had made her grand debut in Bollywood films alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 in Om Shanti Om. Directed by Farah Khan featuring Deepika Padukone in double roles, Farah recalled how she had trained the actress for her debut.

Farah mentioned Deepika was first sent to Anupam Kher’s acting classes for three to four months After which she was enrolled for Kathak classes, followed by number of tests. Farah revealed that for the first 10 days Deepika was asked to just be on the sets and watch how Shah Rukh Khan and Shreyas Talpade are working. Her conversation with Dia who had no formal training in acting added that such preparations can make a huge difference to the new comers.
