This year's beginning hasn't been quite good for the industry. Despite having some big names and budgets, many films have failed to please the audiences at the box office. Vipul Shah has come forward to point out the flaws.

Vipul Shah's Opinions About Bollywood's Struggle

In a formal conversation with ANI, Vipul said, 'I feel that there are multiple reasons for this, and we are going through a phase that has lasted for a certain period of time. The main issue is that we have stopped creating movies for Bharat. We create movies for a small group of people, wherein we cater to twenty-five, fifty, or hundred selective multiplexes. We expect that only this type of audience should develop a favourability for our films.'

Vipul States An Example

While Vipul Shah stated an example to prove his statement, he said, 'A film such as Jaat is quite appreciated. Also, the industry's obsession with creating these kinds of films has led to the disappointment of audiences.

Kesari's Standout Performance

Amid the struggles, Akshay Kumar's starrer 'Kesari 2' significantly gained the audience's favourability. This historical courtroom drama, which was released last week, kicked off with some positive reviews. According to the makers, the film had acquired some positive reviews and earned a huge amount of Rs. 7.84 crore on its very first day of release.
