From a blind dumb and deaf, Michelle McNally in Black to a teenager college student Tina in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, to her role of Suhani Sharma in Saathiya, to Rhea Prakash in Hum Tum, Maya from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna that puts her in a strong role with the extra marital affair that makes happy against the societal norms, her role as Naina Mathur in Hichki wherein she fights her own challenges and achieves her dreams. Her role of a young woman who moves to Mumbai to find a job to support her parents and her sister’s education in the film Laaga Chunari Mein Daag , sacrifices her own happiness to become a call girl in the city.
As Mrs. Chatterjee , Rani essays Vedika’s character of a strong mother who fights an entire nation and the system to get justice and bring her children back. The Mardaani role as Shivani Shivaji Roy is very clear that she can go to any length to get the perpetrator to justice.
