Aarya Babbar

Aarya Babbar started his career in films with Ab Ke Baras directed by Raj Kanwar, alongside Amrita Arora. Aarya has worked with Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar and Vikram Bhatt and was part of the films like Yaar Annumulle, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and in the film Ready. Aarya Babbar has also acted in Bengali films such as Paapi in 2012 with Prosanjit , Pooja Bharti and Sayantika. The Hindi remake of the same film was released on October 11 th 2013. He has acted in Punjabi film opposite Minissha Lamba in the film Heer and Hero. Babbar has been a contestant of Big Boss 8 wherein he could continue for 8 weeks and 56 days before his elimination round.

The actor has also published and released his first novel, ‘My Fiancée and me’ and IFu**ed Up. The book was released on 2 nd February 2015. His next was a comic book for which he has written named Pushpak Viman. He was nominated for the Star Screen Awards in the role of Most Promising Newcomer category for the film Ab Ke Baras. Besides Ab Ke Baras, Aarya Babbar has Mudda: The Issue, Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum, Guru, Partition, Chamku, Jail, Virsa, Tees Maar Khan, Ready, Aazaan, Dangerous, Joker, Zindagi 50-50, Jatts in Golmaal, Naughty Jatts, and Ishq to name a few. He continues to play character roles in many films. He has worked in television serials in 2016 and is currently in Jagriti -Ek Navi Subah since 2024.
