Neha and Sagar were in love and wanted to marry but circumstances made them part ways. Neha thus marries the arrogant and manipulative Jaideep. He then doubts his wife of having an affair with Sagar. One night he invites an acquaintance Vikramjit for a drink to his house and tells him that his wife is having an affair. He tries to get Vikramjit to help him in his vengeful plan but he refuses. Then he blackmails him and forces him to do as he says for a sum of Rs. 1,00,000. Jaideep tells Vikramjit that he will telephone Neha one night when he is away at a party. When she comes to answer the phone, he wants him to strangle her to death. This plan goes horribly wrong when Neha ends up killing Vikramjit in self defence. When Jaideep’s dirty secret is exposed he has no choice but to kill himself. The film is directed by Mukul Anand and produced by
Romesh Sharma. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The story and screenplay is written by Vinay Shukla. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Suresh Oberoi, Dimple Kapadia, Danny Denzongpa, Sharat Saxena, Anupam Kher and Leena Dass.
