This story is about 11 prostitutes who do not want to part with each other, and come what may they want to be together. The film is directed and written by Srijit Mukherjee who is a National award winner and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Vishesh Bhatt, with music composed by Annu Malik. Begum Jaan runs a brothel on the border and she gets desperate to save her business amidst the political issue during the partition. It is based on the Bengali Film Rajkahini 2015. The movie was released on the 7th of April 2017 and was a misfire though it had good content, they could have made it into a better movie. The rating for this film was 5.7/10. Vidya Balan as usual at her best performance and the highlight of the film.
