On asking about the low price, the caretaker of the place informs Vishal that a widow named Manjeet killed her son and then committed suicide in the apartment. Vishal doesn’t disclose this fact to Swati as it might disturb her, but she eventually comes to know. After a while Swati begins to act strange. Vishal consults Dr. Rajan but he is unable to figure anything wrong. After a while she murders the building watchman in a brutal way. Inspector Liyaqat, played by Nana Patekar comes to investigate the muder and finds something very suspicious.

Vishal and Swati’s maid reveals that Swati might be possessed by a evil spirit and helps tie her to the bed. They then meet Manjeet’s mother who reveals that she would never commit suicide. They later learn that Manjeet was tried to be molested by Sanjay, played by Fardeen Khan. Manjeet refused his advances and accidentally she falls off the balcony. Meanwhile Sanjay kills her son who is watching from close by. Swati who is now possessed by Manjeet’s spirit takes her revenge on meeting Sanjay by brutally killing him. The spirit eventually leaves the home and Vishal and Swati live peacefully thereafter.
