Shastri asks him to be his assistant but he refuses. He later proposes to Sitara but she too refuses and goes to Hyderabad. He goes back to Shastri accepting his offer and they try hard to build a flying machine.

Meanwhile, Sitara is in debt and living in bad conditions, to help her out Shivi sells the ancient book to the British. Learning this fact, Shastri gets furious and dies with the trauma.
