Bharat Shrivastav, works as a customs officer and lives with his wife and sister Rajni. Rajni falls in love with inspector Gautam and is soon going to get married to him. Gautam however, is known to have a very unorthodox way of working. He will not take nonsense from anyone. His strict ways of dealing with the criminals have got him into a lot of trouble. He is now also a target of the Shikari brothers Sharma, Tejaa, Tinnu, Chinnu and Pappu. When Bharat opposes their plans and files a case against them, they bribe people are create false witnesses and go Scott free. Bharat however doesn’t let go so easily and persists. This leads to them brutally murdering him. Later Gautam takes revenge and kills some of the culprits, which leads to his arrest.
The vehicle however that is taking him to the prison meets with a horrific accident and all in the police van die. The Shikari brothers rejoice for having their enemies eliminated from their lives. However an unknown enemy has suddenly come into the picture, who is terrorizing them. The movie is directed by Mehul Kumar and produced by A G Nadiawala. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The star cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Akshay Kumar, Suresh Oberoi, Mukesh Rishi, Farida Jalal, Sheeba, Mahesh Anand, Alok Nath, Tiku Talsania, Tej Sapru, Mushtaq Khan, Avtar Gill, Shiva, Aprajita, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Mahima, Mukesh Rawal, K K Raj, Amrit Patel and Mulraj R.
