The movie shows the transformation of a young Narendra Nath Datta as a restless and rebellious child, into an enlightened and humble Swami Vivekananda. The story is a journey of Swami foraying into different aspects of his life, while searching for God. He sacrificed the worldly pleasures and comforts for his love and admiration for God. The movie shows how saint Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, played a very important role in shaping Swami into a legendary Hindu guru.

 

Swami Vivekananda, travelled extensively to spread the word of God, right from Northern India to the western countries of the US and Europe. There is a special focus on his speech at the world religion council at Chicago in USA. Swami discusses how he lays the foundation of the ‘Ramkrishna Math’ and his ensuing proposal for the Mahasamadhi.

 

The movie is directed by Utpal Sinha and the screenplay is by J. Misra. The movie is produced by Tricolour Productions Pvt Ltd. The star cast of the movie includes; Deep Bhattacharya, Gargi Roy Choudhury, Premankur Chattopadhyay, Courtney Stephens, Biswajit Chakraborty, Piyali Mitra and Archita Sahu. The music is composed by Nachiketa and Dr. Haricharan Verma.
