‘Alpha’ is directed by Shiv Rawail. The film marks  its first female led historic moment with its theatrical release. Backed by the Yash Raj Films, Alpha will bring the two women to the forefront in the espionage narrative.

The sly franchise has earlier delivered a massive success at the box office with hit films like Pathaan and War 2.

Alpha aims to expand with a new perspective. 

The upcoming film has expectations and aims high with two female stars in the lead role with a bold new perspective.

The makers are keeping the story and the narrative under wraps as it’s expected to be gritty and an absolute spy thriller with the attractive and elite agents essayed by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as they embark on a dangerous journey to fulfil the mission they have taken up across the international locations. 

The film is further expected to feature a raw and grounded tone which will focus on its Intensity in the field if intelligence operations 

Alpha also boasts s strong ensemble star cast with Bobby Deol as the main antagonist.

Veteran star Anil Kapoor appears as a senior intelligence officer Vikrant Kaul.

Hrithik Roshan to make a special appearance will reprise his iconic role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. The screenplay is the acclaimed writer Shridhar Raghavan who is known for crafting gripping action narratives.  

‘Alpha’s is mounted on a large scale with elaborate action sequences and will have extensive visual effects that is designed for a massive theatrical experience and spectacle. 

The interesting aspect of the film is, that it has undergone multiple release shifts as it was initially planned for the release in 2025 December around the Christmas which later got moved to April 17th 2026 .  Finally, the new release is now slated for July 10th 2026.   

The studio allowed the team to shift the dates  with the additional time as it’s a large-scale film with the dynamic visual effects. The film also has the ambitious vision for a grand and a cinematic experience .
