Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company together have unveiled the first song Raja Shivaji Anthem Chhatrapati from their upcoming magnum opus Raja Shivaji.  A historical epic that is based on the life and the legacy of  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.  

Desh Music and Warner Music India in continuation of their partnership will release the music for this album that is going to be the landmark of the film directed by Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh.   Ajay Atul have brought to life the powerful voice of Ajay Gogavale which supports the ensemble of 80 chorus singers. The track is a stirring tribute that will capture the pride, courage and the spirit of Hindavi Swarajya.

The grand canvas is mounted yet deep rooted with emotions with the anthem that goes beyond the spectacle and will deliver a powerful sonic experience.   The thundering beats, evokes with the lyircs and gives a rise to the emotional moment. The song stands as an ode to the legacy that redefines the honour and the self rule of the emperor.  It doesn’t just celebrate  King, it channelises the awakening of people and gives birth to Swarajya. 

Choreographed by Remo D’Souza for Raja Sjhivaji Anthem Chhatrapati, it will mark a defining musical moment in the film Raja Shivaji.   The choreography will blend with the scale and the soul where every moment will mirror the emotions of the music echoing the collective spirit of the people who unite in pride, for a purpose and to identify as they rise to welcome their beloved King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. 

Composers Ajay Atu, the composers of the track said that from the start this couldn’t be a big song, it had to carry emotions and a sense of reverence by the people. There should be pride in every note and an honour that they feel for which they will stand together working with a legacy to behold.

The duo composers stated one surrenders to it and this will certainly give goosebumps and that’s very beautiful but more than that they hope it becomes something they feel deeply connected to and remember. 

Raja Shivaji is helmed by Riteish Deshmukh alongside ensemble  stars.

Raja Shivaji is set to release in cinemas worldwide on May 1st 2026 in Marathi , Hindi and Telugu, bringing the life of an epic that will celebrate India’s history the scale, soul and spectacle.
