Pranutan’s career in the film industry started with the superstar Salman Khan introducing her on his Twitter account in 2014, September to play the lead role in Notebook opposite Zaheer Iqbal in National Award Winner director Nitin Kakkar’s film, produced by Salman Khan and co producer Ashwin Varde which is expected to release on 29th March 2019.
Her dream was to become an actress inspired by the great talent in her own family.
Pranutan’s first photoshoot was done by famous Dabboo Ratnani for Notebook. She was delighted as Salman wanted to launch her and got very emotional and owes it to her parents and her family to the film industry.
Pranutan like any new comer has given many auditions before entering into the film industry and has not taken advantage of her influential family background to back her up and when some of the people in the industry got to know of her identity, they were shocked to find her so down to earth and unassuming. She did not want anyone to know her surname in the industry because she wanted to come on her own merits. She is a beautiful and talented girl, wants to do different kind of roles and not get stereo typed, wants to do films which are passion oriented.
Incidentally Kareena Kapoor is her favourite actress. Her parents have taught her to be very sincere and work hard. She has a few good friends In the Industry like Suhana Khan (Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Ananya Pandey (Chunky Pandey’s daughter). She has mentioned in her recent Instagram that Dabboo Ratnani will always be very special to her and mentioned about Shadaab Raheen who was honored for the music mix of her film Notebook.
Pranutan coming from a film family background, has come up on her hard work and purely on her talent. She got along well with her co star Zaheer Iqbal that they share a good relationship.
The film Notebook is a charming romance about longing and unconditional love, Kabir and Firdaus are their characters who are teachers and meet through a notebook and is shot in the beautiful locales of Kashmir.
Her beauty is being compared to her grandmother Nutan and takes it as the best compliment anyone can give her. She would like to act with Sara Ali Khan or Jhanvi Kapoor. Says a healthy competition helps to give a better performance
