Grihasti is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film crafted with excellence by Kishore Sahu. The Story revolves around the life of Harishchandra Khanna (played by Ashok Kumar)- A Hardworking Mechanic living with his wife- Maya (played by Nirupa Roy)- A Kind-Woman along with Seven children stays at a Mansion in Bombay. However, Harish haves to move to Delhi from Monday to Saturday and he comes home only on Sunday. Things get complicated- when at his Daughter's wedding- Sunder- a teenager comes to his house claiming to his son, leading to consequences.
