Mahendra Pratap is a wealthy man whose wife passes away at an early age. He thus remarries Geeta who already has a son Devi from a previous marriage. Mahendra Pratap dislikes Devi and wants to get rid of him, so he asks Geeta to choose between him or her son. Devi himself decides to leave the house to keep his mother secure but vows to be back to avenge the humiliation caused by his stepfather. When judge Saxena is killed the blame comes on a pregnant Geeta and she is arrested. Saxena’s wife and even Mahendra Pratap himself testifies against her and she gets 14 years in prison. She gives birth to a boy in prison and names him Raja. She trains him early on to hate his father and take revenge for their plight.
The movie is directed and produced by Latif Khan. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The screenplay is written by Santosh Saroj and the dialogues are written by Kader Khan. The star cast includes Shatrughan Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kader Khan, Gulshan Grover, Shekhar Suman, Sameer Khakkar, Farah Naaz and Geeta Siddharth.
