The story is based on a village woman who has not travelled much and thus finds everything alien. One day she comes to a railway station but sadly gets lost in the crowd. She then waits fourteen long years for her husband to come and rescue her. This is a true story of a village woman. The film is directed by Wasi Khan and produced by Jagdish Verma. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cat includes Sanjeev Kumar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, Shakti Kapoor, N A Anand, Nilu Phule, Sudhir and Jagdish Raaj.
