This movie is directed by Tinnu Anand, produced by Bitu Anand, Tinnu Anand & Naresh Malhotra. Released on the 12th of February 1988. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Meenakshi Seshadri, Amrish Puri.
Inspector Anand Srivastava (Kader Khan is an honest, innocent man who is blamed falsely for a theft, is arrested for three months, is depressed at all this, so hangs himself at home after being released on bail. He has a young 8 years old son Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) who sees this and keeps the noose so that he can restore his father’s honour & dignity someday.
Amit leaves his home along with his mom Shanti (Rohini Hattangady) with another honest Inspector Aslam Khan (Pran) and grows up to become a police Inspector. Vijay gets friendly with Shaheen ((Meenakshi Seshadri) who is Aslam Khan’s daughter. Vijay is a coward inspector who takes bribes and scared of the criminals. JK finds Vijay, takes him in to his underworld and thus he becomes Shahenshah who is a costumed crime fighter, has a left iron hand, with the noose of his father.
In the end there is a court showdown, Shaheshah tells the truth to the judge. JK is hanged.
