Raghu, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, is a tour guide working in Jaipur. He also works part time as a wedding planner for Goyal, played by Rishi Kapoor. Raghu’s arranged marriage doesn’t go as planned, as he is having jitters tying the knot for life. Goyal gets him a fake baraat and Raghu runs away. He meets Gayatri, played by Parineeti Chopra during his wedding and falls in love with her and they soon start dating.

Raghu and Gayatri get into a live-in relationship but it is not socially acceptable in the community where they live in, so they pretend to be siblings. They hide their relationship from everyone and this creates a lot of stress and pressure on the couple who are now constantly arguing. They eventually reconcile and decide to get married, however on the wedding day Gayatri gets cold feet and she runs away.

Later Raghu meets Tara, played by Vaani Kapoor who was his first bride that he ran away from. Impressed by her openness and modern outlook they start falling in love and dating. At a friends wedding while about to propose marriage to Tara he meets Gayatri and they confess their love for each other. Goyal convinces them that they should get married and they agree.

On the day of Gayatri and Raghu’s marriage they both run into each other at the main gate trying to run away. They finally figure out that they aren’t cut out for marriage and decide to continue with their live-in relationship. The movie is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar.
