Sunny Chopra, played by Vivek Oberoi is an arrogant and successful writer for the Times of Hindustan newspaper. He has carved a niche for himself and believes that whatever he has achieved is because of his own hard work and efforts and no one else is responsible for it. He has similar cynical thoughts on his engagement to his fiancé Jenny, played by Ayesh Takia and the festival of Diwali too. He has been pessimistic in almost all areas of his life.

 

On the other hand 51 year old Michael, played by Boman Irani, is a very optimistic individual, with bright thoughts and aspirations. He has landed a job as pizza delivery guy with a big pizza brand. Only problem is that he loses his job exaclt in 2 days after being hired. This time however, he has vowed to keep his job longer. Meanwhile Sunny is in a rush to finish his deadlines, get rid of his pesky neighbor and also pushing his fiancé Jenny aside to go on a date with his life-long crush, Maya, played by Mahima Chaudhary, who is a film star.

 

In all the rush and confusion, Sunny gets hungry and realizes he has no food at home, thus orders a pizza, which is deliverd by Michael. It is not just a pizza that reaches Sunny’s house, but a bag full of optimism and life’s lessons that he will never forget. The movie is written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Shabbir Boxwala. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. The cinematography is by Sirsha Ray.
