Anjali Aggarwal, played by Juhi Chawla is a happy-go-lucky girl who is brought up by wealthy parents Asha and Ajit. Asha is confident that she can sustain a new factory and run the family business well. Thus she goes to the Manjira Islands to build a new factory, however the inhabitants of that place are against any kind of construction and try to drive her away. She then sends her to be son-in-law Shekhar to resolve the matter. However he has a bad accident after which Anjali decides to go in his place. There she goes in her private jet and crash lands. A kind man named Kishan aka Captain saves her life and brings her back home safely. Anjali’s parents are grateful for saving their daughter’s life and ask him to stay with them in Bombay.
Kishan’s strange ways and tribal mannerisms amuse Anjali and her family. She soon falls in love with Kishan. Later it is revealed that Kishan tried to win Anjali over only so her family wouldn’t have the construction in his island. Anjali is devastated to know this but soon Kishan realizes he loves her too. The movie is written, directed and produced by Jyotin Goel. The music is composed by Shyam Mohan. The cinematography is by Chaman K Bajoo. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, Suresh Oberoi, Mohnish Bahl, Raza Murad, Sharat Saxena, Sudhir, Avtar Gill, Ashwin Kaushal, Mahesh Raj, Ghanshyam, Naseen Khan, Sanjay Goradia, Rakesh Shrivastava.
